Make-a-wish grants another surreal wish - SARINA performs an original in front of 22,000 at a SHAWN MENDES CONCERT

During the summer of 2017, Sarina had her dream come true with the help of Make-A-Wish America, Make-A-Wish Canada and Make-A-Wish SWO. Her wish was to preform on a "big stage". It was granted and she was off with her family to Cleveland, Ohio in a room of 22,000 loud fans. The family was treated to a few days of touring around Cleveland. August 2nd, it was proved that the capacity of Quicken Loans Arena was crazy and the sold out venue and show during the Illuminate tour was a major success. The whole family had backstage passes and got to attend a meet and greet along with dinner behind the scenes with the crew.

Immediately, this granted wish became a highlight of the year internationally and Sarina had the pleasure of going to Arizona in 2017 and Toronto in 2018 to perform her original song "Distracted" and chat with the team who made her wish happen.

Big thank you to Make-A-Wish and Shawn Mendes Illuminate Tour

In the summer of 2016, surgeons at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario removed a section of Sarina Haggarty’s brain in hopes to stop her epileptic seizures.

Weeks post-surgery... at the age of only 17, Sarina recorded her first EP and released it selling out Aeolian Hall in London. Aeolian is an historic music venue in London, Ontario.

Selling many hard copies, she planned to donate some of the proceeds of CD sales to brain research. The EP includes 3 original songs written and performed by her. DistractedFind a Way Back and Gonna Let This Small Kite Fly are soulful, beautifully melodic songs with a philosophical depth far beyond the young artist’s age. London's own producer/songwriter Ryner Stoetzer contributed a fourth track, which is an upbeat dance remix of the song Find a Way Back.
